Prepping for Halloween

This year we let the kids pick out their own costumes for Halloween. This is the first year they’ve had any interest in characters. They were freaked out excited about Elmo and Cookie Monster, so that they be. Costumes are not cheap, so we’re trying to get all the wear out of them we possibly can.

Our first Halloween event - Jaime's work Halloween get together. They bought out and renovated the inside of a casino. It was my first time checking it out. Very cool place. For the kids, they had face painting, balloon artists, handed out candy, had an awesome brunch buffet set out with confections galore… we had a great time and are now even more excited about Halloween coming up!
