Walking with Kids

We always enjoy the hiking trails by our home. We try to get out there as often as possible. With consistent warm weather, we've finally been able to head over. I don't know that we'll be going back too soon. 

This time around, after walking and checking out all the beautiful new flowers and tall grasses that had filled between the trees, hubby and kids were covered in little ticks. I kept telling him to keep the kids out of the grass and that we shouldn't walk off path. What are your going to do? It's one of those things where I knew I was right, but didn't want to be proven so.  

By the time we hit the open field we typically trek to late fall, we had to do our first inspect and toss, plus another at the end of the trail. We'll be walking in the neighborhood through the rest of summer for sure.
