No, no! It's not what you think, so don't freak out. This is totally a PG-13 post. I was fishing around online trying to find cool new stuff, as usual, and found the BEST books EVER! I found them online at Uncommon Goods - a place I was perusing for unique Valentine gifts. I thought they were completely original, hilariously truthful and extremely clever. The books:
Porn for Women
Full of photos of hot men doing housework and hilarious quotes such as "I don't like you looking so thin," that give a realistic fill of what women want. I have to admit, I first laughed, then when I took a peak inside the book, I was liking what I saw.
Porn for New Moms
This book took the excitement even further by being tailored for new moms. The book is based around a world where men stay fit, care about how they look, change diapers, cook, get up in the middle of the night to tend to the baby and more!
These two books really got my mind rolling. I couldn't stop thinking about how women want so many of the stereotypical things men want from women. I think the only distinguishable difference is that hotness, for most women, is just an extra plus. We cook, clean, try and look put together, take care of the kids, feel guilty any time we do something for ourselves: I think most women would give up a limb to have that in a partner. Then I really started thinking, do we try and lead by example? I think we do. We try and show we love and care by doing all the things mentioned above. We accept and recognize love and care by getting those same types of things back - and we rarely get them back often feeling short changed. *sigh* I could go on for days about gender ridiculousness.
Anywho - We can at least get the book and dream. It truly is porn for women. Everything we want wrapped up in each unattainable page just like Hustler. So guys! If you are looking for a great Valentine gift idea and are allergic to cooking and cleaning, get your special lady one or both of the books. *wink, wink*
