{recipe} Country Style BBQ Ribs

What is a Country Style Rib Cut
Country style ribs are cut from the sirloin, or the rib end of the pork loin. They are typically individual rib cuts, instead of all in a slab.

What Makes Them so Great
Affordability! They are so much cheaper than regular ribs and have way more meat on them. They are also the best choice for us squeamish eaters. They are a really clean cut, you can eat them with a fork and knife, they are a great choice for kids and they are super easy to prepare.

I actually like them better than regular rib cuts. You can find them in just about any grocery store. We pick up a giant pack from Wal-Mart all the time, for under $8.00. If we picked up a full slab, it would cost at least twice as much. My favorite recipe:

Ingredients
1 package country style pork ribs
2 teaspoons minced garlic
Salt to taste
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce -or-

Directions
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Place your rib cuts either in a baking pan or roasting pan. Spread the garlic evenly on all the ribs, then sprinkle lightly with a little salt. Bake for 2 hours. Remove the ribs from the oven and drain any liquid, if there is any. Generously coat each rib cut with either your favorite bottled BBQ sauce, or your homemade BBQ sauce. Place back into the oven and continue baking for 1 more hour. That's it! Serve and enjoy!!
