Easy Clean Eating Fruit Chips

Dried fruit! Oh man… dried fruit chips are so good and so ridiculously easy to make. These will only run you about 75 calories for every 30 grams. And every 30 grams is a full serving of fruit. I load up on one piece of cheese and a handful of fruit for quick snacks during the day, whenever I'm pressed for time.

Ingredients
8 plums
6 red apples

Directions
You’re simply going to cut the fruit semi-thick. I like to do about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch thick. Cut out seeds and middles with a small knife. Then run in your dehydrator overnight. I hit 12 hours and that’s the perfect timing for chips.

Then remove, let everything cool completely and store in your fridge for up to around 3 weeks. Eat when you’re looking to snack on something crunchy and awesome.

If You Have to Use an Oven
Set on your lowest temp possible, most are in the 170 range. Place all of your fruit on a baking sheet and bake for anywhere from 8-12 hours. Make sure you flip your fruit plenty during the baking process and check your fruit chips often. If they are nice and shriveled looking and have good bend, when they cool, they will be perfect little crackled chips!
