Short Recap - This month, special for the winter holiday season, I have put together a collection of popular Etsy shops and included a mini interview tip direct from the shop owner for tackling the holiday rush. Each shop owner is a 'Seasoned Pro,' meaning, they have gone through at least 2 sets of winter holidays and are preparing their improved game plan for this upcoming winter holiday season. For any shop owner that has gone through the winter rush, you know advanced preparation is key. Any shop owner preparing for their first holiday rush, will soon learn forethought and preparation are absolutely necessary, especially as your shop grows through the years.

I believe that communication with customers is one of the biggest things that causes my shop to be successful and helps me through busy times. Customer service online is very different than in person. Customers only know what we tell them, so I always acknowledge a new order, I thank the customer and let them know about how long it will take.
I keep in touch about custom orders and listen to what my customers want and I reply FAST! Most potential customers are probably shopping around, so make yourself available, and be the first and friendliest shop to respond and you will probably get the order." ~ Waxela
