Dorothy Jane is an amazing Etsy shop I've had the pleasure of finding and getting to know. Owned and operated by the talented Dody, who is young at heart, but certainly has an old soul. Every one of her stunning journals, cards, tags, bookmarks and dolls are directly inspired by the literature and fashion of the 19th century. Stepping into Dody's shop is literally like stepping back in time. I get completely lost in a fanciful world that evokes the old soul in me.
"I think I was born with rosebuds in my soul. I can't get enough. Consequently, I love pretty, delicate things and I adore creating collages from collected, pretty ephemera. I also have loved Jane Austen since I first read Pride and Prejudice when I was fifteen. When I went to college, I studied costume design and preferred making anything that looked like it could be in a Merchant Ivory production. When you combine all of these things, you get what you see in my shop." ~ Dody

Dody has amazingly and graciously offered up one of her Paris Journals to the lucky winner of this giveaway.
