Easy Massage Oil Recipes
My husband and I have our own massage table. We trade a 55 minute massage every single week. It is the best thing a couple can do for each other. Not only does it relieve stress, it’s a great way to bond and this would make a great holiday gift *hint hint*. My job goes from manual labor to sedentary and my husband is always hunched over the computer. Regular massage helps so much. We like to make our own massage oils. These are my favorite recipes!

WOMEN
I like to make 2 different oils, one for men and one for women and this is why - men are hairy and dry. Okay, that sounds a little mean but that isn’t how I meant it. Women typically shave and moisturize daily. We barely soak up any oils so we only need something lightweight. For women I use 100% jojoba oil and that’s it. You can give a perfect massage without feeling greasy afterwards. It feels amazing.
MEN
For men, I like to use 50% jojoba oil and 50% sweet almond oil. This absorbs slightly slower and fixes the issue of having to go through half a bottle just to get some slickness. By the time you’re done, it will still be non-greasy afterwards. Perfect for men. If your guy shaves, has very little hair and/or uses lotion regularly, you can always use the lady recipe.

MASSAGE TABLE
If you find that you really get into this, they have the best deals HERE at Rakuten. I bought that exact massage table. It was under $100, came with all the bells and whistles, shipped for free and even came with a free carrying case.
VIDEOS
Get them for free on YouTube! My personal favorite is THIS video for lomi lomi, which is a traditional Hawaiian massage. It’s fantastic! It isn’t in English, but that’s okay. It’s easy to follow. We put it on mute and turn spa music on in the background. Then we watch and work along with the video. You can find others for extra-long back massages, deep tissue, Swedish, etc…
