The Big 30

Today is my 30th birthday {ouch!}. It's just one of those things. As a gift to myself I did a little shopping. I only splurge 2-4 times a year for new clothes to greet the new seasons. This particular shopping trip I hit many establishments, surprisingly becoming the most impressed with Target. I never would have thought. I am officially a Target addict.

When shopping at Macy's and other big name stores, I could only find clothes appropriate for under 20 or over 40. There seems to be a huge lack of in between. Everything is either super short, distressed and strapless -or- belly button high, cut to the knee or below and lacking in any youthfulness. At Target, they had great prices, the perfect fits for a small, but not perfect young woman. For well under $100 I picked up 3 new dresses and 2 beautiful pairs of shoes.
